CBDS is working diligently to encourage transparency within every aspect of our group. As such, we have re-written the bylaws to reflect that there may be some members that have concerns, or want to express that CBDS is doing well, or alternatively areas we could improve upon.
To ensure transparency, via our bylaws, we have created a form for members and the community to fill out; and have provided a specific time during our meeting for discussions, concerns and general communication to be discussed.
In addition, CBDS is bringing in an outside consultant, Christine English, to assist that the meetings are in compliance with The Brown Act, The Publics Records Act and that Robert's Rules of Order are being followed. Christine can be reached at 951-251-5437.
As part of this process, CBDS has created an "Open Forum" form, to be used during our public board meetings, consistent with the bylaws. This form must be filled out completely to ensure your comment or concern can be addressed. The forms are being made available to you in both MS Word and .pdf
However, as you are filling out the open-forum form, please keep in mind the following sections from the bylaws:

4.7 Concerns: All issues of noncompliance or concern (alleged or actual) brought forth to the CBPD must be documented and submitted to the CBPD utilizing an open forum form, outlining the areas in which there is concern. The CBPD will review the concern and respond at the next public board meeting.
